FURZE Compilation Album Due In 2008

Candlelight Records will release the full-length FURZE compilation album "Hidden Hits of the Official Reaper" in 2008. It will have a combination of totally new FURZE songs, previously unreleased remastered tracks, re-recorded material and other goodies.

In other news, the Norwegian black metal band will contribute a remastered version of the song "Baphomet Wade" from 1999 to the "Wine of Satan 2" LP. Necroterror Records will release the LP as limited edition of only 333 copies.

FURZE's third album, "UTD", was in the U.S. on February 20 (February 5 in Europe). "UTD" is the Candlelight debut from FURZE and it features guest drumming from Frost (SATYRICON, 1349) on two of the album's eight punishing tracks.

In 2006, Candlelight U.K. reissued the band's previously unavailable early recordings, "Necromanzee Cogent" and "Trident Autocrat" (originally released in 1999 via Norway's Apocalyptic Empire Records).
